I have bacterial prostatitis and completed antibiotic course. i will go to urologist after a week. what will he do to make sure there is no infection?

Here are some ...: If your being treated for bacterial prostatitis is based on bacterial documentation from culture, the urologist will reassess your clinical picture and repeat semen exam and culture for documenting the effectiveness of antibiotic Rx. If not getting better or failed to document bacterial infection, consider something else such as chronic pelvic painful syndrome or disorders (CPPS / CPPD).
