Depends: Treatment would of course depend on which ligament was torn: medial vs lateral and what symptoms you have.

MRI/Immobilization: You will likely be sent for MRI evaluation to assist in determining why someone your age has yet to heal after 4 months. Immobilization and/or diagnostic injections may also be considered.
