I'd think so: Unless there are medical conditions that you know you have, doing whatever allows you to get comfortable should be fine. Before the flight, be well rested, eat lightly but nutritionally, drink lots of good water (most important!) and dress comfortably w/ layers - air conditioning can be too much at times. Have a good safe flight and enjoy your stay!
