Be careful.: I'm not sure where your injuries were, but, for example, a sprained ankle can swell off and on for up to a year with use. The injured area is not fully healed at 10 days in the case of ligament tears or fractures of bone. Most strain/sprain injuries take at least a month to up to 3 months. Scar tissue does not gain maximum strength until one year.
