i got my period today. the blood is dark and sticky. it looks almost dark brown. it smells weird too.. i have irregular periods. is this bad?

Probably not: If your period is due then this is probably nothing serious. Menstrual blood, urine, & sweat can all smell odd depending on diet. Onions and garlic, in moderate amounts, can add their smell to these secretions. Coffee too. Some medicines, vitamins, supplements, etc., can also do it. An infection is another possibility If this persists get checked. If you have dizziness, pain, fever, go to ER
