Ent saw a spur in septum. is this a bone spur like arthritis? had pituitary surgery thru nose in 2007. could healing process cause septal spur?

Bone or cartilage: The nasal septum is comprised of cartilage anteriorly and bone posteriorly. Although it is a midline structure, it is rarely perfectly straight. It can be deviated due to: Injury, surgery, trauma or congenitally. If symptomatic (ie nasal obstruction) the treatments include breathe rite strips, various medications (oral and topical) or surgery.
