Yes: Edward, Hiking should be OK. Just be sure to keep your wound clean (no slogging through the mud), and don't soak it in water. During the hike, take breaks to inspect the wound. If you see signs of separation, redness, or bleeding, stop and seek medical attention. Hope this helps!
