Not often: Unless you have been stuck in a situation that might cause hypothermia, I wouldn't worry about that temperature. It could be an error in measurement either with the thermometer or with technique. The most accurate temperatures are core temperatures from rectal, bladder, or esophageal probes. Any other route has a bias to read lower than the actual temperature.
