My husband had blood work done. his dr told him his msh level is low. what does this mean? he was given welchol (colesevelam) to take. we don't really understand!

Neither do I.: I have researched this myself & also don't know what an MSH level is. Perhaps there was a miscommunication. Welchol (colesevelam) is one of a class of medications used to treat elevated cholesterol which is a risk factor for coronary artery and peripheral artery disease. Contact your doctor for clarification.
