Subchorionic bleeds: If you are a smoker with a subchorionic bleed the risk of miscarriage is higher, but in general subchorionic bleeds are common and don't necessarily cause an issue. The cyst is likely your corpus luteum and you are supposed to have one. It provides progesterone to your pregnancy until the placenta takes over production around 12 weeks.
