No, they are not!: Nabothian cysts are cervical mucus producing glands that get clogged and the mucus start accumulating inside the gland. They can range from a few mm to 2-3 cm. Usually asymptomatic but may cause post coital bleeding, abnormal discharge and very infrequently pain.
