Miscarriage: During pregnancy the BHCG doubles every 2-3 days until it reaches the maximum level by the 7-11 wk, so any drop in BHCG if is not a lab error is concerning, repeat the test in 5-7 days if still low then most likely the pregnancy would be miscarried.
