A member asked:

Is it true that some people cannot eat fiber?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fiber is fine...: But some people can't tolerate a lot all at once. The current recommended amounts of 35 grams daily for women and 50 grams daily for men should be divided evenly amongst five or six ingestions/meals daily to improve tolerance. And with fiber goes water, so drink lots of water throughout the day as well.
