S/P tubal ligation: Reconnecting the tubes ( tubal reanastomosis) can be accomplished if there is enough tube to put back together and is not 100 percent effective. Many couples would have to go with in vitro fertilization which can be quite pricey. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover these procedures.
