Quite possibly: Many women can have their tubes 'untied.' you might be a candidate for tubal anastomosis ('tubal reversal') or may have an excellent chance of pregnancy with ivf. Your chances depend on many factors; a reproductive endocrinologist can help you learn more about these options.

Maybe, but: Unfortunately, it's seldom as simple as untying the tubes & hooking them back together. The inner linings of the tubes will have some scaring & that may prevent an egg from moving down the tube. A fertilized egg could end up stuck in the tube for a tubal pregnancy. I would consult with a fertility center &discuss your specific options.

A dying art: Tubal reanastomosis is a dying art. The lab procedures of ivf have improved so much that a tubal reanastomosis is not often performed. Check with an rei on the options.
