Not having trouble breathing, just seems like i can't get a deep satisfying breath of air to bottom of lungs. takes a few tries. not doing strenuous. ?

See a doctor: I do not know if you have underling medical problems but this symptom could be nothing or a manifestation of a heart, lung or anxiety problem. You should have it evaluated

Stress/anxiety: The sensation you describe frequently is a sign of anxiety or being in a stressful life situation for a prolonged time. Identifying and removing the stressful situation and/or treating the anxiety will normalize the breathing pattern described. Disorders that make the lung a stiffer organ or affect the breathing drive center in the brain can cause this. You should see your MD for guidence.
