Sometimes: If paravertebral muscle spasms have been ongoing for awhile they can eventually cause some events to occur that could incite neurological symptoms. What kind of neurological symptoms are you having, and where is your muscle spasm(s) occurring? If you are experiencing any loss of bowel or bladder control or numbness in your upper inner thighs you need to be evaluated ASAP.
