Amla may help: Amla, or Indian gooseberry, is the most important medicinal plant in Ayurveda. Studies show that amla (Emblica officinalis) and some of its phytochemicals such as gallic acid, ellagic acid, pyrogallol, and others have antineoplastic effects. Hence, it may help fight cancer. However, the most important part of the plant is not the seed, but the fruit. Amla is anti-inflammatory as well.
