Questionable : If you mean diet detoxing it is very controversial. Some patients feel much better if they hold off on certain foods for a time to give their bodies a 'rest' . We are not truly sure about what it is doing in terms of detoxifying but if patient feels better and they are not harming themselves with a bunch of strange chemical 'cures' then I support it. The other kind IS in hospital for drugs/alcohol

Detox: Detoxing can be beneficial and accomplished through several mechanisms. It can be as simple as eliminating certain foods and beverages from the diet or more complex and involving IV chelation therapy under supervision of a physician. Our current food production system allows for accumulation of a variety of toxins in food. Testing can be done to measure a person's level of body toxins.
