Referral: In the United States, most insurance plans and/or specialists will require a referral from a primary care physician. I apologize, but am not clear if this is the same situation with the Canadian healthcare system, but strongly suspect that it is.

Would it help ?: Before you invest time & effort I would have your local doc do a bone maturity study (bone age). A single x-ray of your wrist/hand can be examined for growth centers. If the study showed a "bone age" of about 15, your effort could be worthwhile. If it says you are mature (>18) the growth centers are closed & neither HGH or anything else will make you grow taller.
