Depends: Are you using it for depression or pain? There are many alternatives for each of those conditions. However, amitriptyline is on Walmart's 4$ generic drug list so you could try to fill it there.

Med substitute: Perhaps nortriptyline would be an option. Gabapentin is also sometimes used for the same issues. Most pharmacies do not charge a lot for amitriptyline because it is a generic medicine.
