See your doctor: Since it has been going on for more than 2 weeks, yes, get to your doctor for further workup. Most viral sources of pharyngitis (sore throat) will resolve within 2 weeks. I have seen them go longer, but again, most will resolve by then. Your doctor will at a minimum offer some ideas on how to treat the sore throat regardless of cause.
