It needs evaluation: Facial or scalp pain (see other answers related to headaches), can be referred to most areas of the head and pain may not stem from where you sense it. That is why facial/head pain is actually a difficult problem to sort out. Your description is potentially a serious problem, so need c internist/diagnostician and then referred to proper specialist (could be neurologist, dentist, ENT doc, etc.
