Yes: MS can cause a variety of optic symptoms. Most commonly it can cause optic neuritis which is painful when you move your eyes and can change vision. It is not uncommon to have "floaters" although floaters can also be indicative of a different eye abnormality so you should see an eye doctor to rule out other causes.

No, it does not: Floaters within the eye are not caused by MS, but visual loss and scotomata can be due to this disorder. If you have visual difficulties, see an ophthalmologist.
