Low sugar diet: cereal with nonfat milk for breakfast ,salad for lunch,chicken or red meat with cook vegetable for dinner ,for drink only water.

Low carbohydrate: A low carbohydrate diet will give you better blood glucose control. It will also, give you enough protein to build muscle. You will need a weight training regime as well. You might look into a personal trainer or see a sports medicine doctor.
