If a doctor gave me a boot or cast to help heal muscles tears in my ankle, how long would i likely be in one? just curious if that were the case

Extent of injury: This really depends of the extent of injury. If tendons were torn this could be kept immobilized as long a fractured bone. A small tear in muscle or bone may run somewhere around a month or so. I have used such immobilization for small tears in a tendon for approximately that time.
