Get rechecked: Liquid paraffin is a very highly refined mineral oil classified as Pregnancy Category C (use with caution if benefits outweigh risks). I am not aware of it causing stomach pains and cramps. Your symptoms may be from constipation that the liquid paraffin failed to treat. You should stop taking it and see you doctor again for reevaluation and an alternative treatment plan.
