Upgrade in treatment: It sounds like you may need an 'upgrade' in treatment if your candidal symptoms aren't any better. Sometimes I'll prescribe oral anti fungal medicines to rout this kind of infection. I would guess that's what you need - so please call your doc for a follow up. Germs these days are getting tougher, and you hate to think that yeast has some resistance but it could. Time to call out the 'big guns'.
