Body rejecting IUD: The IUD may have recently been placed and improperly and may be exuded by the uterus. There is also a risk of infection, bleeding and pain. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. This infection may spread to other areas of your body.

Adverse reaction: Sounds like you mean "adverse reaction" to IUD. With Copper - symptoms could be a rash (allergic reaction); Abnormal vaginal bleeding; vaginal discharge, pelvic cramps, pelvic pain and expulsion of the IUD. If you are concerned then see your PCP or GYN for an exam and further testing.

IUD rejection: You may feel it's out of place. Occasionally the IUD is rejected (expelled) by the womb or can move (this is called displacement). This is more likely to happen soon after it has been fitted, although this isn't common.
