A member asked:

Is it okay to take linzess (taking it for constipation) along with drinking metamucil or should i avoid metamucil while taking linzess?

See how drug works: Linaclotide has been approved for use in constipation of unknown cause and irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. Metamucil is a stool softener with mild laxative effects. It would be better to see how Linzess, probiotics and diet with fiber work first before adding another product that could affect results.
