CES: A procedure where a needle is placed between the bones of the spine entering carefully the epidural space. Usually it is quite straight forward if done by a seasoned MD - do not have this done under any sedation - you will get ample local. Side effects usually not seen but may include increased pain for a few days, facial flushing - these will improve. Know the risks before you have it.
