A member asked:

Why is it that having a cervical epidural injection i am not able to move my neck in the down motion or tilting my neck to the side?. decreased motion

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs an exam: It is not uncommon for some patient's who have an epidural injection to have some increased pain the first day of the injection due to the added volume of the injected fluid around an already tight space. However complications of the injection can present initially as increased pain and loss of motion as well. Please call the doctor who did the injections and be seen, so you can be evaluated.
