HIV: Is transmitted through body fluids-blood mainly, and not saliva, so only as described, if open sores/bleeding is present and blood transfer occurs, than HIV could be transmitted.

Blood/Fluids and HIV: Yes, if you have an open wound and if you have blood/body fluid contact with a HIV + person, you can be at risk for infection. Follow up with your Health Dept. or with your PCM for testing.
