PCOS: Do you also take other meds? Abnormal menst bleeding can be related to PCOS, psych meds, pregnancy. Some birth control pills are good for acne, others make it worse. Any hormone or birth control may cause menstrual change. Spironolactone is best treatment for acne due to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It is very safe unless you are pregnant or in kidney failure.
