Have small pea size lump (2mm) inside my tongue near the tip. had for 5 yrs & seen ent for over a year who says it's fibroma & 0% cancer but will not biopsy due to poten tongue damage. is that right?

Sounds ok: If it's unchanged in 5 years, it is unlikely to be a cancer. You could always get a second opinion from another ENT or an oral surgeon. Hope this helps!

A fibroma will remain the same for 5 years except when you bite it. A cancer will ulcerate and grow.
