Not Really: You can have clear liquids and jello (not red or purple); if you take any solid food, you will end up with a poor prep and may have to repeat the whole process again;

Stay on liquids: A colonoscopy should be performed. If you have not had much to eat and are on clear liquids this can be compensated with liquids containing high sugar content. Liquids are a must if possible 24hrs before surgery. The day before you can take soft boiled eggs, jello and other semiliquid foods leaving the meats and vegetables until after the procedure.
