See a Thorac Surgeon: He needs to be seen by a thoracic surgeon who routinely does several esophageal operations a year. Obviously there has already been a biopsy since you know the histology probably done at endoscopy. Additional staging tests indicated are endoscopic ultrasound, PET/CT of chest and brain imaging. These will provide best staging and then discussions of treatment modality and prognosis are appropriate
