A member asked:

Hi, i'm suffering with fever and cold(lot of sneezing) for past 3 days. i feel fever only in head and rest of my body is fine. please suggest??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

URI symptoms: A head cold with sneezing for 3 days is usually from a viral upper respiratory infection. The definition of fever is a body temperature elevated to 101.5 F or greater, or early on the temp may be over 100.5 and rising. Your head may feel hot, but without the temperature elevation, it's not called a fever. If no fever, it is okay to wait and watch for 2 weeks while using OTC cold remedies.
