It depends: It totally depends upon how far in one's training you are. Intern, resident, attending, etc. In private practice it's really all about your business skills. You should be able to find national averages by specialty online. Best of luck!

Must be Candid.: Medical School is quite difficult (or it was for me). Being a good physician requires dedication - and often sacrifice. If your primary interest in the field of medicine is financial - there are other ways to make a lot more money. If your primary passion isn't to help/ heal others - then consider taking an aptitude test to determine where your interests and skills lie. Good luck.
