Lump on testicles: Could be several things. Some bad, some not. Best to have this evaluated by your healthcare provider and ultrasound of the area done to help answer the question of exactly what it is. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr R

Needs evaluation: Testicular lumps in young male, that is painless is concerning. Any lump in testicles needs to evaluated promptly. Lumps can be benign or cancerous. Visit your PCP at the very least, if not a urologist.

Testicular lump: This needs to be evaluated by a professional urologist or general surgeon. A biopsy will most likely be done. Can surely not diagnose based on hard or soft alone. Make an appt asap.

Maybe: There are many causes for hard, painless lumps on the testicle. However, cancer is NOT one you want to miss. Especially since testicular cancer is very treatable. Please see a doctor to get an Ultrasound of your Testicles and better understand the next steps. While the odds are on your side that this is not cancer, the risk is too high not to get it checked out. Good luck!!

Here are some ...: If palpation & ultrasound exam confirms the presence of testicular mass, it's still a current urological maxim to consider it as cancer until proving it otherwise. How to handle such dilemma? That depends on urologist's experience & confidence as well as institutional intra-operative support. So, the urologist may proceed with testis removal or with biopsy +/- testis removal via inguinal incision.

Merits evaluation.: A visit to a urologist would enable a proper assessment and determination of appropriate therapy. Not all hard lumps are cancers.
