Hopefully more: The most basic answer to the weight loss question is that you will need to eat less and exercise more. Your doctor should be able to provide you with additional specific advise for your particular situation, keeping in mind your other medical history, metabolic issues, etc. Medication may also be helpful, but is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle.

Not just that: The first treatment goals include your motivation to lose weight. Your BMI is dangerously close to morbid obesity, which means your risk of serious medical conditions is high. Diet with exercise will be recommended, but lately recommendations for bariatric surgery might a treatment option for you. There are also pharmacologic treatment options after initial failure of diet and exercise alone
