Laproscopic : Appendectomy. If the surgery was very recent, give your body some time. During surgery you likely received IV fluids which added to weight gain. In addition, there may be some gas left behind, making you feel bloated. Pain is likely related to surgery itself. Make sure you are having bowel movement and urine production. Talk to surgeon for pain control meds.

Call your surgeon: Call your surgeon about it. Sometimes pain and bloating could be part of normal healing, sometimes it could sign of problem. Meanwhile, keep your food choices down to clear liquids (chicken broth, jello). If you cannot eat, you may want to stay away from food entirely, but make sure to call a surgeon or go to ER, if unable to reach them
