Ask your doctor!: The only person who can answer that question is the physician caring for you, who knows you and the status of your pregnancy better than anyone else. You should avoid returning to work until your doctor says it's ok!

High risk preg: Kay if you have not yet delivered then please do not do ANYTHING to put your unborn child or you at risk and follow your ob's advice. If you have already delivered, discuss with your ob when you can begin activity and at what level. Best of luck Dr R

Do as stated...: by ob physician. They know you the best for this situation and can give you a more detailed explanation. There are many causes of being high risk and many if them require bed rest until delivery to reduce the risk of spontaneous abortion, miscarriage, or preterm labor.

Pregnancy: work: Assuming the pregnancy is now over, returning to work is relative to whether you had an operatiive delivery (C-section). Most obstetricians will prefer rest over about four to six weeks, but everyone is different, and you may be able to go back sooner. Consult your obstetric professional to answer based on your delivery experience and personal history.
