PT won't help....: If your hip joint is worn out and you did not get relief from two steroid injections, then most likely the osteoarthritis is severe. Physical therapy maneuvers try to move a square peg in a round hole and this just aggravates the pain. Hip replacement surgery sounds like it is in your near future.

Consultation: Steroid injections are not an answer, they are only temporary and should not be repeated. An orthopedic surgeon specializing in hips should be consulted.
