Maybe..: It does sound like a lot but I don't know the full scope of your case. I see that you have a history of skin abscesses which may be why your doctor put you on a long duration of antibiotics. If you are having diarrhea, talk to your doctor - he can probably switch to something else. Also I would take probiotics with it!! BE well!

Tolerable or not??: Most people tolerate clindamycin, but some have side effects including nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. Only you can decide if the side effects are “tolerable” (i.e. annoying but not TOO bad), or “intolerable” (i.e. the diarrhea is just too severe). Most importantly: contact the doc who prescribed the med to discuss lowering dose, changing meds, or staying on clindamycin.
