Dry socket: It sounds like you have a dry socket which can be easily treated with medication placed directly into the socket. Call and get an appointment with you dentist ASAP and feel better soon as the medication usually works within an hour or so. You may also require antibiotics.

White?: Usually patients are asked to keep light pressure on the extraction site for 20 to 40 minutes. And may repeat if bleeding continues. While numb it is hard to know how much pressure you are applying. Too much pressure and for too long the gum tissue is without blood supply and turns while and hurts until new tissue grows, 10 to 14 days. This is but one possibility. Call for a follow up appt.
