Possibly: There are a few ways in which diabetes can be related to hyperhidrosis. For example episodes of hypoglycemia can be associated with profound sweating. Also diabetes can affect the nerves which control sweating and cause an "autonomic neuropathy" . And there may be no relationship at all and just have two separate problems
