Fever: If you have a sore throat and fever, you may have an upper respiratory infection. If you have white spots on your tonsils and swollen glands in the neck, you may have strep, a bacterial infection which requires antibiotics. If not, it is likely a viral infection. Feeling ill may cause anxiety and this will raise your blood pressure. If you don't feel better with Ibuprofen, see your doctor.

Sounds like: You should be swabbed for a strep infection. Anytime you are sick it can make you feel more anxious. It is normal for people without anxiety to feel a bit anxious . Fever will make your pulse go up and the top number of your blood pressure but not to an unsafe level. If yours is very high goto the ER

Fever and throat inf: Fever and a throat infection will definitely trigger the anxiety and make your blood pressure go higher. Take it easy and start drinking a lot of liquids. Eat well.good luck and feel better!
