Too young: No one in the world is to test cholesterol when you are so young. There are no treatment recommendations for this at your age.

Repeat and diet: Hyperlipidemias are classified according to which types of lipids are elevated, that is hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia or both. Additional testing to define the nature of the elevation can help guide treatment, but given the mild nature of your elevation, dietary modification is the initial approach. If unsuccessful, treat with statins (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) and/or fibrates
