Call ur dentist...: Is the swelling adjacent to where the fillings were placed? It is very possible that you have n infection, but it needs to be examined for a proper diagnosis. Please call and don't delay.

Root canal or pull?: Sounds like you have a Periapical abscess related to one or more teeth. This needs immediate treatment, as this is potentially life threatening! A root canal will save our tooth (it will need to be followed up by a tooth buildup and crown) and it will eliminate the source of the infection. Extraction will remove the tooth and treat the abscess, but you'll have one less tooth. Both are treatment

Multiple: Multiple possibilities. While other emphasize a dental abscess(which is possible) it could be something as simple as having chewed your cheek while numb. Start first with a call to your dentist for a follow up visit.

See a dentist: The best way to diagnose your condition is through x-ray and clinical exam. Swelling is one of the signs of infection and it is not a good idea to wait any longer. Taking too much pain killers is not good for you either.
